I met with Richard Bell of Bell Alliance (www.bellalliance.ca) today. We originally met at a networking breakfast held by Remax Crest (Westside).  We were intrigued by his presentation of a novel, paperless approach to providing real estate legal services.  He watched as Ron and I self destructed at our first sales presentation.  Since then, he has really taken us under his wing.  Both Richard Bell and Ron Usher have been generous enough to share their insights into the real estate industry here in Vancouver.  After our first meeting, I began to see how valuable forming strategic partnerships can be.  Thanks Richard and Ron for taking the time to meet with us!

At some point in the last 2 weeks, we produced our 100th video.  Thanks to all our clients who took a chance on a new service and saw the value in our products and services.  It’s amazing how a few months can change your perspective.  In the beginning of March, we were willing to give our services away for free in exchange for a testimonial and more video content for our website.  And to add insult to injury, only 2 people took us up on our offer and they shared the listing!  Thanks Liz and Lori from Remax Crest Westside!

Today we received a phone call from Lee Kellogg who runs a company (www.CAStreaming.com) that produces web-based commercials in Los Angeles.  She recently saw our videos and said that they were the best real estate videos she had ever seen.  She originally asked if we were available to work in the L.A. area.  Now she wants to meet with us to learn more about our production process.  Maybe Ron will get a consulting job for a week down in Tinseltown. 

Yesterday we shot our first video for Nier Shapiro.  Welcome aboard Nier (www.neirshapiro.com).  Nier is selling his own home and is using our videos to market the listing!  How about that for an endorsement.  I had to stop and think for a moment how many listings we have shot for agents selling their own homes.  The total is now 4.  Our Video Openhouse tours are without a doubt, the best way to showcase a home on the Internet!

This morning we shot a video today for a client of ours.  Today, he told us that he was able to double-end the sale for both the listings that we produced videos for.  I couldn’t help but wonder if he was contacted after seeing the video from the mls or realtylink websites.  Agents should take note that having videos produced will increase their chances of double ending a sale!

I just received an email from Andrew Hasman.  We have recently done quite a bit of work for him.  He owns a vacation rental property out past Nanaimo and he asked us to shoot his property for him.  Here is the link:

We would like to welcome Susan Man to the world of real estate.  Susan is a retired teacher and our newest client.  She is about to list her first home.  The 3-bedroom condo is right by the Seawall.  It’s a beautiful place.
